Description We are seeking an energetic and efficient criminal lawyer with at least 2 years PAE to join our Northern NSW office.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in close proximity to the Lismore Local and District Courthouse and the surrounding areas to best service our clients' legal needs and ensure timely, efficient support.
The successful applicant will possess:
Experience appearing in summary proceedings including pleas, defended hearings, and release applications.Experience instructing counsel in more complex matters.Excellent attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills.A high level of organisation and time management.The ability to analyse complicated briefs of evidence.The capacity to work well under pressure, multi-task, coordinate, take initiative, and prioritise your workload with competing demands.A strong work ethic and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.You must be committed to providing expert legal representation to individuals while offering support, understanding, and unbiased compassion to our clients.
