Andrew Byrnes Law Group is a Canberra based criminal law firm that is founded on the idea that lawyers can and should do things differently and be exceptional in order to wow our clients. We are driven, ambitious, and ready to reshape the legal industry and how criminal law is practised.
The vast majority of our work is in criminal law, but we also practice in some select civil law cases as well. In criminal matters which make up the vast majority of our work, we represent clients in all Courts, including the ACT Supreme Court, ACT Magistrates Court, and all NSW Courts. In civil matters, we act in civil litigation and civil disputes.
Your role would be as a criminal lawyer, but if you were open to it, there would be the possibility of working on some select civil law cases. We are prioritising hiring a criminal lawyer specifically, and so if that is your main interest area then we are more than happy to discuss that with you and craft the role to fit the appropriate candidate.
We are open to applicants that are early in their career or have a few years of experience, so please feel free to apply if you have experience already as a criminal lawyer or no experience at all and are looking for your start.
