We play a key role in supporting the ATO's core compliance functions by conducting a wide range of investigations across a broad range of tax-related crimes, including those pursued through the Serious Financial Crimes Taskforce.These roles may require interstate travel and a current Australian driver's licence is essential. You may be required, at times, to work flexible hours outside of the standard bandwidth.Investigate complex fraud offences to a criminal standard of proofAssess and gather informationPrepare comprehensive briefs of evidenceMentor and guide othersSkills and experienceExperience in planning and leading fraud investigationsFamiliar with evidence gathering activitiesUnderstanding of evidence managementCan interpret legislation, regulations, and operating policiesAttractive superannuation contributions of 15.4%Flexibility to provide work/life balanceContemporary workspaces and technologyLearning and development opportunitiesThese roles will be offered in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle, Perth or Sydney CBD.You must be an Australian citizen to work with the ATO.
