We are seeking highly motivated and experienced senior leaders to join our Criminal Investigations teams within the Fraud and Criminal Behaviours (FCB) business area.
FCB is dedicated to developing comprehensive solutions to address deliberate, systemic, or complex behaviours that threaten the integrity of the Taxation and Superannuation systems.
We play a key role in supporting the ATO's core compliance functions by conducting a wide range of criminal investigations across a broad range of tax-related crimes, including those pursued through the Serious Financial Crimes Taskforce.
As a Criminal Investigation Director , you will lead teams in conducting complex investigations, often involving multiple agencies, into high-level criminal offences.
You'll oversee investigations to a criminal standard of proof and prepare full briefs of evidence for submission to the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
You will provide strategic advice on investigation strategies and lead the development and evaluation of policies related to criminal investigations.
Additionally, you'll act as the ATO representative, liaising with other agencies such as the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and the Australian Federal Police.
