Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.
Our Wildly Important Goal (WIG) is to grow the number of 5-12-year-olds playing cricket. To deliver on our WIG and strategic priorities we have a collaborative, customer-centric approach. ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Clubs & Competitions Manager, in this role you'll be responsible for the experience and retention of players and growth of cricket through associations, clubs and competitions within the Far West region.
In this role you will:
Collaborate internally and externally to deliver outstanding experiences for our customers
Support the development and growth of volunteers in your region
Build strong relationships with associations and clubs, putting the volunteers and players at the centre of decision making
Provide leadership, support and development of volunteers to support the delivery of cricket activities, programs and competitions
Increase registered participation rates for 5-12 year olds
Use insights to inform recruitment and retention strategies
Work with volunteers to support the delivery of cricket within your region
ABOUT YOU
Excellent at building relationships
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Experience dealing with and supporting customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative approach to solving problems to find win/win solutions
Desire to listen, learn and develop your skills
Computer literacy
Ability to work flexibly
Cricket knowledge is not essential!
