The business is fast paced and experiencing considerable growth and diversification, and as a result has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate CREWING MOBILISATION & LOGISTICS OFFICER to join our high performing team.The OpportunityReporting to the senior Crewing team, this position is full-time, provides flexible working hours and is based in our West Perth head office. The successful candidate will gain valuable support, guidance and growth opportunities within the offshore marine human resources space.The primary responsibilities of this role are vast and varied with no two days the same. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:End to end recruitment of suitably qualified, experienced and competent Marine crew;Arrangement of training, medicals, visas (and associated travel logistics) for onboarding of personnel. Verify all training and recruitment related invoices within prescribed limits;Ensuring vessel logistical movements are well planned, coordinated and executed in a timely and cost effective manner which involves liaising with company travel agent, service providers, employees and clients' nominated representatives if and when required;Maintaining familiarity and awareness of relevant employment agreements and industry trends/updates that are relevant to particular vessels assigned to your responsibility;Preparation of fortnightly documentation for payroll processing;Ensuring data accuracy, validity and efficiency of crew documentation in the company HRIS system (OPMS) is entered and maintained as per vessel and client audit requirements which include Flag state, STCW, MLC, Charter Party and other codes and applicable standards that are required by law;Providing regular communication with Employees by phone, email, skype, WhatsApp, Zoom and Teams;Applying the application of the relevant enterprise agreements to employee's expense claims and working hours;Providing support for other members within the Crewing team.Pre-requisitesProven track record in a similar role is highly desirable however the Company is willing to provide on the job training and mentorship to the right candidate who may not be from a marine background but may have a strong background that involves movement of personnel, recruitment and generalist HR functions in other energy markets.Personal AttributesThe personal attributes that would support success in this role include:Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with experience of building positive working relationships at all levels;Appetite and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and with competing deadlines and constantly changing schedules;Positive attitude towards new and indifferent tasks;A high level of attention to detail and strong administrative skills;Demonstratable ability to work autonomously, whilst also thriving in a collaborative team environment;How to ApplyIf you believe you are the ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity with GO OFFSHORE, please submit a detailed cover letter and resume by clicking 'Quick Apply'.All applications will be dealt with in strict confidentiality.GO OFFSHORE Pty Ltd is an Equal Opportunity Employer and promotes diversity in our workforce.
