Crew Supervisor / MR or HR Driver Join Australia's leading Poultry Industry Services Provider Multiquip Poultry is a National Company that is totally dedicated to servicing the Poultry Industry in Australia.
We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the growing farms to the processing plant, moving everything from eggs to fully grown birds.
As a Crew Leader at Loganholme, QLD you will motivate and lead our poultry team to deliver great care for our chickens while improving our production.
Flexibility to start from 4 PM you will contribute in an important way to driving leading standards of animal welfare, efficiency, and compliance through your leadership.
This will call for individuals with the following qualities: strong organisational skills, effective management of multiple tasks, and commitments to safety and regulatory adherence.
The successful applicant will need the following: Current MR/HR Licence (synchromesh manual)Be very flexible with work roster starting times from LATE NIGHT / EARLY MORNING shiftMaintain PPE RequirementsWork well in a busy team environment and work unsupervisedBe motivated and willing to do physical workAlways maintain a high level of safetyResponsibilities will include:
Able to occasionally assist with catching chickensTransport forklift to and from farmsBe a good Crew Supervisor and Team LeaderEnsure completion of all paperwork & fatigue rules are followedCommunication with growers and other key site personnelWhat we offer: Sunday to Thursday night/early morning rosterFull-time employment, paid weeklyCompany uniform providedOnsite training and development opportunitiesModern and well-maintained equipment**Applicants should note that due to quarantine procedures, successful applicants must not have live poultry, avian or pigs kept at their place of residence.
