Duties of a Crematorium Manager:
Lead and supervise the cremation and keepsakes teams, ensuring efficient, high-quality service. Handle scheduled customer drop-offs and viewings with professionalism and compassion. Manage team training to uphold customer service standards. Assist the client care team with investigations, aiming for satisfactory resolutions. Organise work rosters, covering annual leave and personal leave as required. Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and basic repairs to site equipment is carried out in accordance with the service and maintenance scheduling. Manage and maintain all facility equipment in the Morisset premises ensuring the continual smooth running of services. Ensure vehicles are maintained and detailed in accordance with procedures manual as required. Support the operations and general manager as required. About You:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Team Leader / Supervisory role. Effective verbal and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer focus and service orientation. Ability to work within a high temperature environment. Technical appreciation of industrial equipment. Experienced with handling power tools. Fit for work carrying out manual handling tasks. Intermediate Microsoft suite experience. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively. Ability to make well-informed decisions and work positively under pressure.
