Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Credit Team Leader to join our collaborative Credit Team, located at our Head Office in Archerfield. This is a 12 month maternity cover, full-time role, responsible for ensuring a strong cash flow is maintained for the Hastings Deering Group of Companies through the collection of payments from customers and leading a small team of Credit Officers.
You will be required to:
Lead a small teamOversee customer account reviews and maintenance for assigned customers along with contacting assigned customers to discuss overdue accounts & follow up regarding overdue outstanding accountsResolve disputed transactions with customers within target timeframe and engage relevant stakeholdersReview and release held orders and approve trading limits within authorised level You will also be required to develop strong working relationships with customers and conduct regular ledger reviews with key stakeholders! About you You are a skilled Team Leader with previous collection experience working within a complex and diversified organisation.Advanced excel skillsExceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to form relationships with internal & external customers, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities is required.Demonstrated experience in analysing and evaluating financial informationA Diploma of Credit, Business, Accounting or related discipline will be advantageous to your application.
