Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Credit Structuring Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming challenges into opportunities! In this exciting position, you'll engage directly with borrowers, assessing their unique situations and crafting tailored solutions to restructure distressed loans. Your expertise will not only help improve our financial outcomes but also make a real difference in the lives of our clients. What you'll do:
Identify restructuring/workout candidates based on pre-agreed criteria.
Analyse flagged restructuring opportunities with borrowers to assess borrower outlook and opportunities for improving Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD).
Recommend strategies for credit approval.
Document revised commercial agreements.
Monitor portfolio segments - Watchlist and Restructured Loans.
Reporting.
Qualifications What you'll bring:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Expertise in assessing financial performance and borrower risk.
Proficient in gathering information through direct borrower interaction.
Skilled in negotiating favorable commercial terms and restructuring agreements.
Experienced in documenting facility restructures.
Excellent verbal and written communication, able to convey complex information clearly.
5-10 years in credit/lending/workout/insolvency, including credit analysis, customer engagement, and documentation.
Creative in developing solutions that minimise losses for the company and support borrowers.
