Credit Services Officer - Junior

Immediate start with a view to permanency on offer for a hardworking and self-driven Junior Credit Officer. This busy role will see you working for a high-profile organisation with a portfolio of highly recognised brands and who distribute their products across the country. Located in the heart of the Southeast, we are currently seeking someone with up to 2 years credit experience to join our client's Team.As the first point of contact for all inbound calls and emails, you will play a key role in supporting the wider Credit team through various critical administrative and reporting tasks. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position that requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first approach.Reporting to the team leader, your role will include, but will not be limited to:
Shared responsibility with the team for handling 400 - 600 inbound phone calls, 2000 inbound emails per dayMake limited credit decisions, escalate complex issues to Credit Officers or the Credit Services Team LeaderDeliver multiple, complex administrative and reporting functions that are critical to supporting the collections effortStaggered shifts within the team between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, including state public holidaysTo be considered for the role, you will need to have: Up to 2 years' experience in a Credit and Customer Service type roleMinimum basic level skills in Microsoft ExcelExperience with SAP or a similar ERP system ideally soughtCustomer-first approachTeam player with a positive attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlinesA high work ethic and a willingness to go above and beyondTertiary qualification preferred but not essentialIn return for your hard work and commitment to the role, you will be rewarded with a fun working environment, free onsite parking, an onsite cafeteria, and the opportunity to develop in your career while working for a well-known and established brand.
