With support from the Head of Enterprise Risk, you will:Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and second-line assurance in the areas of credit quality, credit concentration, capital adequacy, liquidity, and market risk.Support the maintenance and monitoring of BankVic's enterprise credit and financial risk position and related artefacts.Work with first-line teams to embed the risk management framework and related practices, providing advice and input as needed.Complete core activities such as risk assessments, control testing, incident capture, reporting, and assurance.Analyse relevant risk incidents and control failures to identify trends, isolate root causes, and enable sustainable treatments.Promote and foster a positive risk culture across BankVic.Who we are looking for:A qualified risk practitioner with at least five years' experience working in a second line risk function within financial services, supported by a thorough understanding of regulatory and prudential requirements.A subject matter expert in all things credit and financial risk (i.e. lending, portfolio analytics, model risk, and stress testing), skilled in risk and control identification, control design, and testing.A trusted advisor known for working effectively with stakeholders at all levels (including first line) to foster, embed, and challenge risk practices.A curious curator with a knack for communicating complex concepts clearly, unpacking data to offer meaningful insights, and working with multiple systems and processes concurrently.What we can offer:Discounts and savings off a range of our products and services.Ambulance Victoria Membership reimbursement.Flexible working arrangements.Dress for your day.Employee assistance program.2 days paid volunteer leave.Ongoing professional development with access to study leave.Reward and recognition program.BankVic is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
