Job Description You will be responsible for:
Managing and reviewing credit applications and credit limits.Pursuing overdue accounts in a professional manner.Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies.Producing accurate and timely reports on the status of the credit portfolio.Assisting with month-end closing procedures.Collaborating with the wider accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.Ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department. The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Controller should have:
A strong educational background in finance, accounting or related field.Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
