We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller who seeks to balance the maintenance of credit standards with delivery of good customer service. Key responsibilities
Liaising with insurance brokers to effect cancellation of funded policies Ensuring that overdue payments are acted upon in a timely manner by making outbound calls and sending appropriate arrears notification Actioning inbound telephone calls on Credit Team queue Applying knowledge and understanding of credit processes to make sound decisions to achieve optimal collection outcomes Maintaining the debtors ledger within policy guidelines and meeting monthly KPI Providing excellent customer service through assisting clients to resolve their queries Working within the sales team to assist and facilitate the collection of amounts Understanding of Consumer Credit Laws Other ad-hoc duties as required.
What are we looking for?
High attention to written and numeric detail Strong communication and organisational skills Commercially astute in problem solving Excellent customer service skills – politely assertive, respectful and empathetic Maintain an in depth knowledge of company products and credit processes Ability to multitask and work independently A good team player, supporting and assisting colleagues when possible Insurance/Financial industry experience Understanding of Consumer Credit Law Experience in collection or debt recoveries (At least 2 years)
