DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Credit Controller, Accounts Receivable in Melbourne.
The Accounts Receivable incumbent plays an integral part in supporting the operations of the Branch by undertaking various administrative tasks such as; maintaining data, resolving customer account enquiries in a courteous efficient manner, collecting outstanding monies, allocating receipts and executing credit application submissions.
Your typical day at DSV: • Accounts – debtor reports and collection calls provide copy of invoices and credit notes and send statements of accounts via SAP.
• Maintain and control data in relation to the client organisation in Masterdata.
SAP and Cargowise One.
This would include, but not limited to, credit terms, credit limits, etc.
• Apply and review customer credit terms and insurance cover as required.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders regarding customer accounts and invoicing.
• Ensure accuracy of recorded data in a time efficient manner.
• Provide high level of customer service and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
• Reconcile customer accounts as required.
• Complete paperwork in a clear, legible and accurate manner.
• Follow operational procedures at all times.
• Other data entry if required.
• Working as part of the Finance team you will be cross trained in other functions and will assist other team members when required.
About you: • You bring experience in administration, ideally within freight forwarding or logistics, and have a knack for handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• Detail-oriented and accurate, you're confident in managing data, accounts, and paperwork.
• Customer-focused, you excel in providing courteous, timely support and can resolve account issues effectively.
• Team-oriented, you're eager to cross-train and assist your colleagues, ensuring smooth operations within the Finance team.
