Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and passionate hands-on credit professional to join our finance team in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
As we embark on an ambitious journey to reach $2 billion in sales within the next two years, we need a motivated and proactive - Credit Control Team Leader to grow and transform our credit management functions.
You will have the ability to implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and enhance credit controls.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day activities of accounts receivable and credit control processes across the groupImplement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and enhance credit controlsMonitor accounts receivable aging and create strategies to minimize overdue accountsProvide weekly cash receipt forecasts to support group cash flow managementManage credit risks and develop strategies to improve cash flow and collectionMaintain PPSR registrations and adhere to debtors' insurance (TCI) policiesCollaborate with sales to manage the credit application process and maintain positive customer relationshipsDesired Skills and ExperienceQualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Credit Control Team Leader or similar roleMinimum 3 years of accounts receivable/credit management experience in a commercial environmentStrong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software (Xero preferred)Experience servicing a wide range of customers, including major accounts and smaller organizations (approximately 100accounts)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and relationship-building abilitiesWhat We're Looking For:A credit manager with vision and enthusiasm to establish and develop the credit management framework as our business growsA team player who can actively contribute to our finance team and the broader businessSomeone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the challenges of a growing companyThis is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our company's growth trajectory.
