The ING Customer Operations Team is looking for an experienced Credit Assessor to join our Priority Commercial Mortgages team in Sydney.
This a permanent, full time role where you'll be working as part of a vibrant team. Day to day you'll assess credit/loan applications secured against commercial property for new or existing Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) customers, whilst delivering exceptional customer service. ING currently operates in Consumer, Residential and Commercial markets.

What you'll doWork thorough credit worthiness assessments for New or Existing customers seeking finance for up to $5m.Be provided an opportunity to obtain a Delegated Lending Authority of up to $5m.Proactively re-package and communicate deal options to achieve the desired credit outcome.Adhere to all audit and compliance requirements to prevent exposure to unacceptable risk.Ensure that all credit applications are completed within the appropriate time frame.Provide outstanding customer service to ING Customers/ Brokers, and resolving loan enquiries, appeals or complaints in a timely manner.What we're looking forStrong experience in Commercial lending, in a Credit Assessment role or similar.Demonstrated experience in the credit assessment of business entities (companies, trusts, proprietorships, sole-traders).Previously held a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) of at least $2m in Residential or Commercial lending.Strong analytical, reasoning and problem resolution skills, with the ability to consider and integrate a broad range of factors in structuring and making decisions.Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.Effective coordination and communication skills to confidently liaise with all stakeholders.Excellent customer service ethic with a delivery focus mind-set.What's in it for you?Drop everything and learn with over 16,000 professional and personal development courses to choose from.Discounted ING Health Insurance.An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing.An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity.About UsAt ING, we want to make life simpler and more worthwhile – for everyone who banks with us, for the people who work with us, and the community at large, too.
