Job Title: Credit Analyst
Location: Freshwater Place or Allansford
Business Unit: Group Finance
Reports to: Credit Manager
About Us: Join our dynamic team at Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA), where we are committed to excellence and innovation in the dairy industry. We are looking for a dedicated Credit Analyst to join our Group Finance team and play a crucial role in managing our credit and collections functions.
Position Overview: As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for managing an allocated debtor portfolio, maximizing cash flow, and building strong relationships with our clients and internal customers. This role involves end-to-end credit management, including risk assessment, collections, payment processing, and enforcing credit policies to maintain an acceptable level of risk.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Maintain a professional approach with customers and liaise with the Customer Service Team on order releases.Accounts Receivable/Credit: Accurately allocate payments and claim deductions in SAP, ensure customer accounts are up-to-date, manage credit limits, and meet collection targets.Risk Management: Assess credit risk, prepare credit limit reviews, and monitor credit blocks in SAP.Reporting: Provide monthly commentary on overdue debtors and actions taken.Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Qualifications: VCE or equivalent; tertiary qualification preferred.Experience: 3-5 years in a credit role within FMCG or a comparable industry; SAP experience preferred.Skills: Proficient in SAP transaction processing, excellent time management, understanding of credit life cycle management, and credit risk assessment principles.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to influence, negotiate, and make decisions effectively.Action-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Stakeholder management and continuous improvement focus.Why Join Us?
