Are you an experienced Credit Analyst looking to make your mark within a leading non-bank lender? We have an exciting opportunity to join our clients' Lending Operations team, where you'll play a key role in assessing credit applications and supporting the growth of the business.About the RoleAs a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, performing credit assessments, and making recommendations to support responsible lending decisions. You'll analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to determine creditworthiness while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Working closely with the Lending Operations team, you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality lending services that meet our customers' needs.Full time position$95K - $110K + SuperMelbourne CBD OfficeHybrid work weekKey ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive credit assessments and analyze loan applications.Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and supporting documents to assess the applicant's financial position.Recommend credit decisions in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the lending process.Monitor loan performance and maintain accurate records of credit analysis and lending decisions.Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the Lending Operations team.Key Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in credit analysis or a similar financial role.Strong understanding of lending principles, credit assessment, and financial analysis.Ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports.Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to lending.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
