This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for finance, keen attention to detail, and a desire to grow into the mortgage broking profession.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with our mortgage broker to provide support in assessing client profiles and making suitable loan recommendations.Become familiar with a range of lending policies, bank products, and niche offerings to ensure tailored solutions for each client.Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and the team via phone, email, and text message.Review and analyse financial documents, ensuring accuracy when keying data into our CRM system.Prepare loan applications for submission, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.Liaise with bank credit teams to follow up on applications and ensure smooth processing.Collaborate with the team to meet monthly KPI targets.Assist in developing online procedures and contribute to the overall success of our operations.Perform compliance tasks, ensuring all compliance documents are in line with industry regulations and requirements.Work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional client outcomes.Required Skills and Experience:Prior experience in lending, credit analysis, or a related field.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and analyse complex financial documents.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and online CRM systems.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to understand and apply credit policies, with a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Why Join Us?Be part of a growing, fun, and dynamic team in the Bendigo CBD.Hands-on experience working with clients, developing skills that can lead into a mortgage broking career.Flexible work options for the right candidate.Play a key role in supporting the mortgage broker directly and have an impact on client outcomes.
