Job Description Work for a reputable company - consisting of a family of much-loved brands.
Perm Full time opportunity located in Adelaide CBD.
Support Customers & Bankers within the Commercial Banking Team.
How will I help? As part of the Portfolio Management Team, your razor-sharp credit analysis skills and strong industry insights will be put to use for both large private, and smaller public, companies.
Working with Relationship Managers, you'll meet with company executives and professional investors, and provide high-quality written credit submissions and input into loan structuring.
Your key responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively with analysts, product experts, relationship managers & credit managers to initiate and structure a range of banking transactions.Enjoy a unique blend of analytical and entrepreneurial challenges.Look into risk profiling, financial analysis and related credit submission activities to support upcoming deals.Monitor and manage risk across customer portfolios.Play a critical role in protecting Westpac Groups assets by applying sound credit management practices.What's in it for me? What do I need? A good track record of banking experience with solid credit analysis and commercial acumen will position you well to confidently navigate the complexities of credit risk.
You'll usually work in a team, but you'll also need to regularly fly solo.
That said, prior experience (3+ years) working in a professional environment including accounting, insolvency, legal, consulting, banking or engineering is also highly desirable.
You'll be a natural communicator, able to engage and build genuine relationships with our customers, team player and a decisive thinker.
You will work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers.

You'll stand an even better chance of getting this role if you have:
A relevant professional accreditation including, CA, CPA or CFA accreditation.Cash flow modelling skills.A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain great relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.This role involves working from the Adelaide office three days a week.What's it like to work there?
