The Role This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to support Creative Victoria's First Peoples policy and program deliverables and ongoing development of Creative Victoria's overall engagement with the Victorian First Peoples' creative sector.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of the First Peoples Team within Creative Victoria, supporting the Senior Manager, First Peoples in developing and maintaining key sector, community and government stakeholder relationships, policy and program design, and implementation of key project deliverables.
Key accountabilities include: Support the Senior Manager First Peoples in collaboration with Program Managers of First Peoples programs and sector-wide programs across Creative Victoria.Develop and maintain relationships with Victorian First Peoples communities and creative industry stakeholders, providing relevant information and advice to the Senior Manager First Peoples.Provide appropriate cultural (content) advice and advocacy across all Creative Victoria programs and work areas.About You The role will require an experienced candidate with extensive knowledge of Victoria's First Peoples cultural and creative sectors, including strong community and sector networks, high-level stakeholder and project management skills, and the capacity to use these skills to develop and deliver effective outcomes.
