About the role We are seeking a Part-time / Casual or Contract Creative Therapy Programme Coordinator (Acting and Arts) to join our community team in Samford, QLD. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging creative therapy programmes that support the wellbeing of our clients.
What you'll be doing Run and coordinate creative therapy programmes focused on acting, music and visual artsFacilitate interactive workshops and classes that foster self-expression, emotional processing, and community engagementYou will work with Individual clients and or groups of adults.Collaborate with community stakeholders to identify clients and grow the businessManage day to day running of the programme and individual client activities , including set up, clean up, scheduling and budgeting.Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes to ensure continued effectiveness and impactMaintain accurate records and provide regular reports on programme activities and achievementsPart Time Initially: Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Friday This is not a work from home roleWhat we're looking for Degree or diploma in creative arts therapy, counselling, social work, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in designing and delivering individual and group-based creative therapy programmesStrong facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse participantsExcellent organisational and project management capabilitiesPassion for community development and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing of local residentsProfessional experience in acting, performance, photography and film highly regardedInitially you will be the lead/ only worker in this role as it is a new position and will be expected to work towards business development and promotion including social media and website promotions.About us We are establishing a new programme focused on adults (primarily 25 - 35) with mental health and schizophrenia to assist them to establish social connections and transition from hospital or community care units into independent living.
