Job description : The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys enjoy the largest geographical footprint in the National Rugby League. Our Club is looking for a full-time Creative Operations Manager to lead an innovative and creative team to deliver projects that engage our fan and member base and deliver tangible results for our internal departments and external partners.
As the Creative Operations Manager, you'll be an integral part of our Brand Team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and supervising four direct reports. You will be responsible for the smooth, efficient and timely delivery of the club's videography, photography, graphic design and animation projects with a strong focus on collaboration. Along with managing the workload of the team and overseeing the internal briefing and approval process, the role is also hands-on and is expected to shoot and edit video projects, as required.
Specialised knowledge and skills: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Film, Media Studies or a related field 2+ years in a video content production role in a sports environment – NRL desirable 2+ years in a multi-media management role – in an agency, broadcast television or in-house environment Competent in the operation of video cameras, both Broadcast and Digital Cinema Camera Proficiency with Canon DSLR Cameras for video capture (essential) and photography (desirable) High level of technical literacy with PC and Apple Mac systems, as well as: Adobe Creative Suite of Software Final Cut Pro video editing software Content Management Systems Experience: Sport Content creation – experience working autonomously to create high quality video content that satisfies the requirements of multiple stakeholders within a strict timeframe Brand Management – experience nurturing and protecting a brand while showing initiative, creativity and the ability to problem solve Project Management – experience developing and supervising processes that deliver projects from concept to implementation People Management – excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to earn trust and credibility and build strong working relationships Our fast-paced and welcoming environment will offer sought-after benefits, including a competitive salary, bonus structure, professional development and other incentives that come with being part of a professional sporting club.
