Overview Creative Director – Luxury brands / Automotive We are looking for a Creative Director with luxury brand expertise to help lead an ambitious and dedicated Melbourne based agency and creative team within the Publicis Groupe ANZ network. You will join a highly collaborative agency, creating compelling and effective digital and integrated campaigns that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
You will be a Creative leader in the luxury, automotive or high-end lifestyle/fashion/beauty sector, and work within a dynamic, supportive team that thrives on pushing boundaries and delivering work that goes beyond expectations.
Working with a smart, kind team of digital and luxury specialists, you will help shape and drive high quality creative campaigns and be proven to deliver innovative and strong conceptual thinking in the luxury space.
What You'll Do: Shape the Creative Direction for all campaigns, across all channels and touchpoints, ensuring every digital interaction aligns with our client's brand values and customer expectations.Craft seamless, personalized customer experiences that resonate across email, social, mobile, and web platforms. Your strategic creative vision will drive customer loyalty and brand engagement, and lifetime value.Work closely with production, data, media, strategy and CRM teams to ensure creative solutions are backed by data insights, offering effective personalised customer experiences across digital channels.Inspire and lead a team of Creatives, providing mentorship and guiding them through the creative process while fostering a culture of continuous growth and excellence.Partner with clients to translate business goals into innovative brand solutions.Help drive the Creative Process: From concept through to execution, lead your team through the creative process to deliver campaigns on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.Stay at the forefront of design and digital trends, applying new tools and technologies to constantly improve campaigns and customer engagement strategies.Build strong partnerships with clients, offering creative direction that aligns with their business goals and luxury positioning.The person we're looking for is/has: 10+ years of creative/luxury agency experience particularly within the automotive or high-end fashion/lifestyle sector.Proven expertise concepting and developing campaigns across all outputs including TV/film, print, OOH, social/content, digital and CRM for luxury brands. Some experience working on brand partnerships/sponsorships will be highly regarded.A strong track record of creating high-impact digital content (email marketing, customer journey mapping, etc.) that delivers personalised and impactful creative solutions to engage customers across the entire customer journey.Innovative Leadership: You lead by example, inspiring your team to think creatively, embrace new technologies, and elevate their craft.Strategic Vision: You balance creative brilliance with a strategic mindset, ensuring every campaign is aligned with both client objectives and customer needs.Strong communication skills and the ability to nurture and grow long-term partnerships with clients. You're comfortable presenting and pitching digital/creative ideas to senior clients and stakeholders.Strong understanding of design, photography, typography, digital/social and print.Fluency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator CC – If you are art-based, you must be able to work at pace on your own concepts.Strong story telling ability – ability to turn insights into a narrative and effective creative solution for clients and craft compelling copy.Excellent understanding of marketing principles.Experience leading and mentoring creative teams, helping to nurture talent and their career development.Evidence of delivering innovative campaigns with proven effectiveness to drive growth for clients.A keen interest in design, culture and innovation.* This role is part-time/full-time negotiable.
