Indie College is seeking a full time Creative Development Officer to create content for Indie College alternative educational programs.
This position can be based at any of our Indie College Victoria sites including Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton and Geelong.
Indie College is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation supporting young people and adults to overcome a range of barriers to learning.
Our learners include young people and adults that may have additional learning needs, are at risk or have disengaged from education, are impacted by mental health and/or require a flexible arrangement to complete education.

Workplace ObjectiveThe position is part of the Creative Development Team and is responsible for developing engaging and compliant learning and assessment tools for a range of Indie College courses, including but not limited to:
Certificate I in General Education for AdultsCertificate II in General Education for AdultsCertificate II in Workplace SkillsCertificate I in HospitalityCertificate II in Applied Digital TechnologiesCertificate II in CookeryWorkplace Tasking & Key Responsibilities Develop and update high-quality compliant learning and assessment materials (coursework) and associated documents, with consideration towards learner engagement and relevance to our cohort.Work within the framework of Indie College policies, procedures, and legislative / regulatory requirements.Follow ASQA, training package, and Indie Education requirements and standards during the development of coursework.Follow Indie standard coursework guidelines, instructions, style guide, and formatting requirements to ensure that the work meets the specified standards.Review and edit the coursework for clarity, coherence, grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors to produce error-free content, meeting the required completion deadlines.Work collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders as required with Manager.Continuously improve course materials in line with feedback response procedures i.e.
validation, opportunity for improvement (OFI's), surveys.Required Skills & Qualifications Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122.TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or an equivalent AQF5 course in teacher training (Desirable).Minimum of 2 years' experience in the development of VET curriculum materials and assessments.Demonstrated knowledge of the VET Regulatory framework.Current and best practice knowledge of industry training requirements and training standards.Proven ability to develop compliant course material in consultation with key stakeholders.Demonstrated capacity to carry out all administrative tasks associated with learning and assessment development.Exceptional attention to detail, planning and prioritisation, and time-management skills.Ability to contribute to a team culture of communication, compliance and continuous improvement.The ability to work independently and in a team environment.The ability to participate in annual planning meetings at Head Office or another site.Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and SharePoint.Additional Requirements: Working with Children CheckAnnual National Police CheckRemuneration A company laptop and phone is provided with this position.Salary Packaging through Maxxia.To Apply: All applicants must submit a Cover Letter and Resume addressing the Workplace Taskings & Key Responsibilities for this role as listed above.If you have any questions regarding the role please contact: Di Benson, Regional Manager - Creative via email (******).
