Job Highlights:

40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AWST with one hour unpaid break
Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Branding: Design high-quality graphics for book covers, social media, marketing materials, and more, ensuring all designs align with the organization's brand identity.
Content Creation & Management: Develop engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials, and manage content posting schedules across multiple platforms.
KDP Content: Create visually appealing and engaging A+ content for Amazon KDP, adhering to platform standards to enhance product visibility.
Social Media Management: Maintain multiple social media accounts by creating and posting relevant content, engaging with the community, responding to comments, and growing the online presence.
Video Editing: Perform light video editing for promotional videos, social media content, and other marketing needs.
Website Updates: Update the organization's website with current book content and information on upcoming releases, ensuring content is visually appealing and aligns with the brand voice.
Collaboration: Work closely with the team to develop campaign concepts, share creative ideas, and contribute to brand-building initiatives.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist with additional design and marketing-related tasks as needed to support the organization's growth.
Requirements Experience : Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work across print and digital media.
Software Proficiency : Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with working knowledge of Bookbolt and Canva (plus).
Video Editing Skills : Basic-level experience in video editing for social media and promotional content.
Social Media Expertise : Experience managing and creating content for multiple social media platforms.
Attention to Detail : Meticulous approach to design, ensuring all visuals meet brand standards and quality expectations.
Website Management : Familiarity with Wix or similar website platforms, able to update and manage content effectively.
Storytelling : Strong storytelling skills to help translate ideas into engaging visuals and content that resonates with audiences.
Proactive & Organized : Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Team Player : Comfortable collaborating with team members and contributing creative ideas to enhance projects.
Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an "Independent Contractor" arrangement, candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
