If that sounds like you, then you may be the right fit for our Creative Copywriter role at Pet Circle.  The Pet Circle Brand and Creative team is a skilled group of designers, brand marketers, and creatives, working to elevate the shopping experience for pet families across Australia. As the Creative Copywriter, you will be responsible for bringing our tone of voice to life through written communications, working across all marketing channels including onsite, social, paid media, mass media, and branding campaigns.  Working closely with the Design Manager, you will form a creative team that works across all creative touchpoints for Pet Circle. Working independently or as part of a creative team, you will craft customer-led headlines, and scripts for video content, both short-form and action-driven content, in support of all copy briefs across Pet Circle. 
\n What you'll be doingOwning creative copywriting across all key channels providing snappy, concise and intriguing marketing copy to drive customer engagement, specifically focussed on weekly trade for our homepage and eDM/CRM channelWriting and pitching concepts and scripts to support trade, new product and seasonal campaigns, with a focus on writing scripts for video and short-form contentPartner with Design Manager to craft concepts and storyboards brand campaigns for quarterly brand awareness campaign including ATL and BVOD/digital video, social Work across our Private Label portfolio of in-house owned brands, creating and executing new product development including product naming, visual direction and launch campaignsWork cross-functionally across Pet Circle Insurance, Pharmacy and other new ventures, to develop tone of voice and GTM/BAU campaigns Work with our vet, social team and People/Culture team to generate organic content for Pet Circle's social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedInWrite and curate SEO friendly onsite content edits and product descriptions for our Private Brands, to help customers discover and shop our range Your Ideal ToolboxDemonstrated marketing copywriting experience with a minimum 5 years working in-house or within an agency Demonstrated experience working across brand campaigns including concept and pitching ideas, storyboarding and post-production Previous copywriting experience in retail / eCommerce experience highly regarded Proven experience managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently Work collaboratively with the wider marketing and agency teams to ensure effective campaign integration Stay up-to-date with relevant cultural and industry trends to identify creative opportunitiesManage reporting to assess effectiveness against business and marketing goalsHave a knack for quickly understanding how a product works and why a customer would love itIn-depth understanding of how to write for different channels, different customers and different objectives Feedback-driven, open and collaborative ways of workingFlexible and adaptable, to adjust tone of voice to meet all briefsBeing passionate about copywriting in conjunction with a love of pets Juicy PerksHeaps of development opportunities - stretch projects, focus groups & secondmentsFlexible working environmentUp to 50% employee discountProduct sample giveawaysPawrental leave and well-being leaveTeam charity volunteer daysClasspass subsidy

So this role is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days per week in our pet friendly offices (your pet might love coming to the office even more than you).
