Our programs develop critical collaborative and creative thinking skills in 5-13yr olds through active skill-building. At StarTime, and across all our programs; we celebrate the individual talents inherent in every child, allowing them to dream big and have the courage to pursue them throughout life.
Work is likely to entail presenting to groups of 20-30 children in a variety of formats, whether it be a 2hr incursion or a full day workshop in the school holidays.
ABOUT YOU: You love working with children and young people, developing their confidence in learning new skills and applying their creativityYou enjoy applying technology creatively in visual arts. (ie: By using animation software and applications)You are confident and adept working across various iPad applications or are confident in your ability to learn quickly (we provide training on the specific apps we use.)You are adaptable, energetic, enthusiastic, organized, efficient, can think on your feet and have highly engaging presenter skills.You are a thoughtful and proactive communicatorYou are constantly striving for exemplary results in the learning of students and teachers who attend our programs.You are willing to up-skill and participate in paid training in order to deliver workshops on a variety of exciting topics and skills.Ideally you have near-full availability during the school holidays between 8:00am-5:30pm.
Availability between 2-4pm weekdays and/or before school hours is also desirable for term workshops.
