About the Role: As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of Red Rooster, delivering our delicious food directly to our customers.
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who: Have a current P1 driver's license and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle that is registered and comprehensively insured for delivery.
Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Possess strong communication and customer service skills.
Are reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to customers at their specified locations.
Ensure orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Handle payments (cash or card) and maintain accurate transaction records.
Communicate any delays or issues with orders to the restaurant or customer.
Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and clean.
Follow all road safety and traffic regulations during deliveries.
Assist with other restaurant duties such as packaging food orders when necessary.
Company Policies: Follow all company policies and operational standards, including food safety and workplace health and safety regulations.
Report any workplace incidents or near misses promptly.
Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and ready for service.
Obey all road rules; any fines incurred are the driver's responsibility.
Maintain documentation on completed deliveries, mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
Wear appropriate PPE (high-vis vest/jacket) at all times while on delivery.
