We are in search of a proficient individual to undertake tasks such as installing, testing, adjusting, and conducting routine maintenance on the electrical and mechanical elements of cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment. The selected candidate will also play a key role in repairing overhead cranes, identifying faults, installing electrical switchboards, and ensuring the smooth connection of electrical systems to power supplies.Tasks and responsibilities may include:Install, test, adjust & carry out routine maintenance on the electric & mechanical parts of cranes, hoists & lifting equipment.Select, cut & connect to terminals, the appropriate wiring or cabling as required.Repair overhead cranes, hoists & lifting equipment by identifying & diagnosing faults using appropriate electrical & electronic instrumentation.Install electrical switchboards.Connect electrical systems to power supply.Test circuit continuity.Complete electronic service reports.Travel to other sites.The successful applicant will have:3-5 years' experience working to AS1418 and AS2550 standards will be advantageous.WA Electrical license.Experience in Manufacturing, engineering, mining, field services, lifting & rigging.C class driver's license.Valid working at heights qualification.High Risk EWP license.Ability to travel/work away for periods of time.Excellent written & verbal communication skills.Detail orientated.Must have full Australian working rights and must be able to complete a pre-employment medical and a Drug & Alcohol screen.The Benefits:Company vehicle, & fuel card.Company phone, laptop & credit card.Great team environment.High potential for growth & expansion.Potential for career progression into supervisor/management roles.Meal, travel, and site allowances.Rewards & recognition programs.Employee Assistance Program.Service awards.Flu vaccination program.This is not just a job, it is an opportunity to join a company with a century-long legacy, work in a dynamic industry, and contribute to the success of clients across various sectors.
