The reason for this role: The Crane Supervisor is accountable for the management of Goldwind-owned cranes and rigging equipment in Goldwind Australia's projects, including crane asset management on certification/compliance/maintenance/upgrade/documentation and spare parts. This role is also responsible for crane relocation within the wind farms as well as storage, rigging equipment register, and inspection for compliance purposes.
Please note this role will be working a structured roster whilst on site and you will be based at Camp whilst on shifts.
What you will be doing? Manage the cranes to be compliant with Australian Standard for safety & productivity, including green sticker/plant register/registration plate updating and other requirements for compliance.Manage the cranes under good conditions for regular maintenance and each required maintenance and keep the maintenance in record.Manage the cranes for repair, upgrade if required and manage the Inspection, storage and spare parts.Manage the cranes movements on site and mobilization/demobilization between wind farms and storage.Supervision of crane and rigging crews and managing the equipment compliance.Inputting crane data into the appropriate database in an accurate and timely manner and building simple/suitable database for the company if required.Manage the HSEQ requirements on cranes and rigging from work safe as logbook and other records.Work with site teams to manage the rigging equipment inspection and for compliance and update the tracker. Help each site to find the rigging replacement if any damage.What does your background look like? General knowledge of the crane industry and heavy lifting.3+ years' minimum experience in rigging management.5+ years' experience in heavy lifting and heavy crane management.Demonstrated understanding of compliance principles on heavy crane and contracts, schedules, documentation management, and stakeholder management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Negotiation skills and ability to relate to diverse stakeholder groups.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.Good knowledge of Project Office systems.Ability to work effectively in an Australia/China cross cultural environment.Goldwind Australia offers all their employees excellent benefits, career development pathways, support, and ongoing training.
