We are currently seeking an experienced Crane, Rigging and Scaffold Supervisor to join our team based onsite for a Turnaround event in Central Queensland.
As a Supervisor you will be responsible for delivering high quality project services to the client and provide supervision and coordination as directed by the Turnaround Superintendents, Project Manager and the client.
This role is for an immediate start.
Key responsibility areas
Coordinate and identify lifting activities and associated risks
Oversee lifting operations to ensure they are executed in accordance with lifting plans
Ensure Scaffold activities are compliant and in accordance with the scaffold design
Ensure that labour are suitably trained and possess the necessary skills to undertake their designated responsibilities
Assessment of risks and hazards involved in tasks, and methods to manage the hazards to prevent incidents, injury and damage
Maintain daily timesheets for labour and equipment
Plan and coordinate resources and equipment for the TAR and conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that Company procedures are followed
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in maintenance or shutdown projects
Experience working in a major hazard facility
Solid communication and written skills with the ability to establish clear lines of control and delegation
Be approachable and tactful with good time management skills
Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and Outlook
