Amazon is seeking a Senior Sales Leader to define strategy and execute tactical plans for our innovative New Project.
This role will reinvent customer engagement with our platform.
The sales manager plans and delivers quotas, builds and develops accounts managers (who we call customer advisors), implements prospect acquisition and customer growth campaigns, and fosters voice of customer feedback.
The ideal candidate will have experience building sales teams from scratch, growing sales teams, consistently delivering multi-million dollar quotas, executing sales strategy and tactics, and developing cross-functional relationships to voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
In this position, you'll be at the forefront of Amazon's newest venture, helping to shape the future of how customers interact with our platform.

Key job responsibilities Lead a sales team to Deliver Results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, while always placing the customer firstDevelop regional territory plans and report on them quarterlyDrive prioritized lead generation for the teamLead and inspire a growing organization comprised of enterprise customer advisors on customer acquisition and growthHire and Develop customer advisors to support continued, "rocket ship" growthUnderstand and mechanize the inputs and outputs of the businessDrive customer satisfaction across the customer base with expert account managementPartner with Sales Operations and Marketing to test, measure, and execute tactical salesPartner with Category and Product Management teams to drive product improvement ideasTake an Ownership role in the continued build-out and documentation of sales infrastructurePresent results in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executivesClose complex deals and help reps negotiate large deals A day in the life
Your day might involve strategizing with your team, analyzing sales data, meeting with key stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
You'll balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on involvement in complex deals and customer relationships.

Minimum Requirements 6+ years of sales experienceExperience managing teamsExperience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributorsExperience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance driversExperience planning, managing and closing competitive sales efforts and managing deals from negotiation, to closing and through deliveryExperience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's businessExperience influencing C-level executivesExperience managing a team and training/on-boarding new members Acknowledgement of country:
