The role is a key contributor to the CFO team's capability to deliver high quality financial reports, forecasts and analysis which support budget holders to better manage operations and changes in the external environment.

Responsibilities include:
Deliver highly accurate and timely analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with budget holders across the CPL Group to understand and optimise financial performance. Assist in the design and implementation of monthly financial dashboards and KPI reporting for budget holders. Partner with stakeholders to improve service delivery capabilities. Work collaboratively on projects and new business initiatives. Provide input into process improvement initiatives and IT systems enhancements particularly data capture. Undertake Benchmarking against other sector organisations. Design and maintain budgeting and rolling forecasting system models to improve performance monitoring under new funding model. Proven ability to prepare management reporting, budgets, forecasts and financial models. Solid experience providing analysis of financial information such as business unit performance, annual or project budget review, interpretation of key performance indicator variances and trends. Highly effective relationship building skills. Strong problem-solving skills and time management skills. Advanced Excel skills ability to manipulate data from financial systems. Tertiary business qualification - CA/CPA or equivalent preferred. Development of Power BI Dashboards desirable (but not essential).
