What would I be doing?
As a Grants Program Specialist at CPL, you will play a critical role in driving CPL's mission to create an inclusive society for people with a disability. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and managing opportunities within the community, grants, tenders, and corporate partnerships to secure impactful support. By facilitating corporate volunteering, coordinating grants, and fostering meaningful corporate partnerships, you will enhance CPL's strategic initiatives and outcomes.
What would be my key responsibilities?
Project manage end-to-end grant, tender, and funding application processes, including research, submission coordination, and acquittals. Collaborate timely and effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather required information. Coordinate external grant writer consultants for larger, complex applications. Maintain a funding pipeline to align opportunities with CPL Group's strategic objectives. Track and report on grant outcomes, managing compliance and financial accountability. Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with corporate partners to secure funding, sponsorships, and in-kind support. Research and negotiate with potential partners and create tailored partnership proposals to support client retention and quality service delivery. Innovate and implement initiatives to build long-term partnerships aligned with CPL's vision and values. Develop and grow relationships with corporate partners to increase corporate volunteering engagement. Undertake other responsibilities as required and directed by manager or delegate. What would I need to be considered?
Relevant tertiary qualifications and around 3 - 6 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing volunteering or community engagement programs. Strong capability in building long-term relationships with corporate partners and stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to motivate and engage partners. Proven ability to identify collaboration opportunities and deliver impactful outcomes. Demonstrated experience in coordinating grants, tenders, or funding submissions, including managing deadlines and compliance. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet funding requirements. Understanding of grant and funding pipelines, with a willingness to learn more about strategic grant writing. Proven ability to identify, recruit, and nurture corporate partnerships to achieve strategic outcomes. Demonstrated skills in proposal development, negotiation, and delivering mutually beneficial agreements. Strong commercial acumen and ability to align partnership strategies with CPL's goals. Highly organised with strong administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new ways of working and grow expertise in business development. Strong capability to manage relationships across diverse stakeholder groups internally and externally. This position also requires a National Police Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearances (we can help!).
