About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the technical aspects of project delivery including the integration of project activities to ensure the completion of projects on time and within budget and to the required quality. With an ability to understand the critical path on the project, you will be involved in identifying key construction methodologies on the project that require detailing with project staff, design, and subcontractor input to ensure an agreed plan is in place to avoid delaying the project.
As the successful candidate you will need to be a self-starter who is highly motivated, well-organised, and committed to the highest possible work standards and safety. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will require:
Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the construction industry including structures and building experience. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. Managed engineering disciplines and sub-contractors on projects ranging from $20M - $50M. Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly against cost and time. Demonstrable understanding of safety, health, and environment best practice.
