About Role:
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and EPMO, the Change Management Lead is pivotal in driving the successful implementation of strategic initiatives across the organisation. This role is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the effective execution of the Change Management Framework, facilitating project benefits realisation, and leading a team of Change Managers. The Change Management Lead will work closely with Project Managers, Sponsors, and Project Owners to foster a culture of excellence in change and project management at CPA Australia, continuously refining change principles and methodologies to support organisational growth and adaptation.
Develop, deliver, and maintain an effective organisational change management framework to support strategic portfolio execution. Develop an enterprise-wide change management strategy using our organisational Change framework, incorporating stakeholder input to address organisational, project and employee level changes. Manage and conduct change readiness and impact assessments to mitigate risks, address resistance, and foster commitment and adoption. Design and implement a change and engagement plan considering organisational dependencies, business practices, and culture, with stakeholder collaboration. Ensure governance of change management activities, adhering to policies and procedures and aligning with the overall change management strategy and framework. Identify learning needs and provide recommendations to upskill business users. Establish and track system change adoption metrics to measure, report, and assess the effectiveness of change management throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with sponsors and project owners to plan project outcomes and benefits from the outset, supporting successful execution. Lead a team of Change Managers to support strategic change initiatives across the organisation. Manage team performance through coaching and regular feedback and resolve conflicts constructively and promptly. About You:
Tertiary qualification in business management, change management, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in people leader position, able to lead a team and to manage own projects and timeline. Extensive experience leading complex business change initiatives, with a proven track record in applying a range of change management methodologies and tools effectively. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, enterprise-level change projects, including strategic planning, execution, and evaluation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data and align decisions with strategic priorities. Proficiency in advanced change management tools and software, with a solid understanding of their application in complex environments. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, prepare compelling presentations, and influence senior and executive stakeholders. Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to engage, inspire, and collaborate with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
