I am currently recruiting on behalf of a school in Swindon who is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors that can support on a flexible basis covering their own teacher absences.
This school is particularly keen to find staff that have a strong grasp on behaviour management and can follow school policies to keep the learning as consistent as possible for the students.
For staff that are new to the role, there is training available.
Staff with a particular subject specialism is preferred where possible.
Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis.
The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn't include planning and preparation; however, strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
Experience working in schools or with children in similar roles Confidence in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16 The ability to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged Flexibility to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily In return for the above, you can expect to receive:
