Expressions of interest - We are seeking expressions of interest for future vacancies within Court Security in our Gippsland region. Join our talent pool - candidates will be contacted for future openings.

About the role and team: Our team at Court Services Victoria keeps the courts and tribunals and the people who attend them safe, secure and orderly. As a valued team member, you'll play a significant role in helping build safer communities by ensuring the public feel safe and protected when dealing with the judicial system. This is a varied position where you have to think on your feet, be able to problem solve and work as a team, making no two days the same.

You'll be responsible for: Providing exceptional customer service to anyone entering the court.Conducting x-ray screening, using metal detectors and searching individuals for prohibited items.Roving security patrols within and external to the building.Conflict resolution and negotiation.Acting as a first responder to any incidents that may occur.Managing access and control rooms. What we're looking for: Certificate II or III in Security Operations.Current Victorian security licence.Current first aid accreditation. The recruitment process: Once you've applied online, shortlisted applicants will have a quick 10-minute phone call with our Talent Advisor Hannah to learn more about the role. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to attend an onsite interview. If successful after the interview, the G4S Talent Acquisition team will email you a series of items to complete and return: Your ID and relevant qualifications, national police check & reference check form. You will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment. Upon passing, you'll receive an employment contract plus a final set of onboarding forms.
