About the Role Court Officers facilitate and manage proceedings online and in court. These roles provide personalised support to judicial officers in performing their judicial, ceremonial and administrative responsibilities. Court Officers work collaboratively with teams across the Court, liaising with coordinators, Family Violence and Specialist Courts and Program staff to ensure timely assessments of matters, appropriate referrals to legal assistance and support services. The role also assists the effective functioning of the Court by performing a range of administrative services and clerical tasks to ensure matter readiness. These positions report to two Program Coordinators within the Legal Policy Unit and are part of a dynamic and innovative legal team which includes specialist legal practitioners supporting the criminal, civil and specialist jurisdictions of the Court and its corporate and operational business units.
