Ongoing VPS 3.2 position at the new Bendigo Law Courts Therapeutic position within a multi-disciplinary team A great opportunity to build on your current case management skills within a justice setting About Us The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the Role Located at Bendigo Law Court, the role of the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) Case Manager is to provide support utilising a client-centred and problem-solving approach to people on bail with a range of complex needs who are participating in the CISP program to engage with their rehabilitation and achieve positive behavioural change.
Key accountabilities include: Providing case management support, taking a holistic, strengths-based and collaborative approach Communicating hope and optimism for change and applying a person-centred and evidence-based approach, supporting and enhancing the client's motivation Engaging with clients through assessment and treatment planning to develop a person-centred individual support plan Possessing knowledge of the safe and effective delivery of evidence-informed interventions Assessing and managing risk and ensuring clear communication, documentation, information security and confidentiality Preparing reports on client progress and effectively speaking to your work in a court setting Developing knowledge of local services and referral pathways to reduce barriers to service access About You Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma level) related to case management practice with forensic clients; such as Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Drug & Alcohol or another related field and/or relevant experience Extensive experience in the assessment and case management of clients with complex needs Demonstrated capacity to provide a culturally responsive and inclusive service to clients Demonstrated client engagement and management skills, including motivational interviewing techniques How to apply Click the 'Apply Now' button, ensuring you include the following in your application:
