This appointment is offered on a replacement basis to carry out work whilst the incumbent is on secondment. The incumbent has the right to return to their substantive position. Should this occur prior to the anticipated end of the secondment, your appointment will be terminated with 4 weeks notice.
Salary: $95,759 to $107,217 per annum (HE07)
Salary packaging options are available.
5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum.
Available for remote, flexible, work from home or hybrid.

About the RoleWorking closely with the Head of School, Teaching and Learning Convenor, Academic Manager, academic and professional staff, the Course Manager will have responsibility for a range of activities underpinning academic curriculum management across the School of Environmental and Rural Science at UNE. This includes providing advice on the development of new curriculum items at School level, ensuring compliance of curriculum items with quality assurance mechanisms and liaison with business areas to achieve implementation and publication. The role will build effective working relationships with academic and professional staff across the University, providing sound policy and procedural advice and working collaboratively in the teaching and learning space. The role will engage with students in relation to credit and progression and work proactively to resolve complex enquiries. The role sits within the Curriculum and Academic Management team and reports to the Academic Manager, operating under their general to broad direction.
Preference will be given to applicants who can provide an on-campus presence in Armidale for a minimum of 3 days per week, but some flexible working arrangements are available.

This position is a parental leave replacement and the appointment is subject to the staff member's leave arrangements. Should the staff member on parental leave vary their return to work arrangements, this contract may be terminated earlier by giving four weeks notice.
Current UNE Staff: In taking up this appointment, the appointee will need to seek approval from the Head of Cost Centre to be released from their substantive position for the duration of the secondment.
