This role will position you as the cornerstone of effective course management, overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs offered by the Department, you'll be instrumental in ensuring seamless communication between facilities, facilitators, and students.About the Role:As a Course Coordinator, your primary focus will be on managing all aspects of academic course delivery, from scheduling and resource coordination to supporting facilitators and engaging with students. You'll play a vital role in ensuring each course meets high standards of quality, compliance, and student satisfaction.Key Responsibilities: Course Coordination (75%)Course Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage course schedules, ensuring they align with the guidelines and academic calendars.Facilitator Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, providing essential administrative support, preparing course materials, and assisting with classroom and online setup.Student Engagement: Handle student inquiries, provide guidance, and support communication to foster a positive learning experience.Course Evaluations and Feedback: Track evaluations, gather feedback, and generate reports to aid continuous improvement.Resource Coordination: Ensure facilitators have the necessary materials, including textbooks, digital resources, and instructional tools.LMS Administration: Assist with administering the department's Learning Management System, from uploading materials to tracking student progress.Academic Reporting: Maintain course rosters, grades, and all relevant academic documentation.General Administration (25%)Financial Management: Track expenditures, process invoices, manage vendor payments, and assist with financial reporting as required.Procurement and Contracts: Support procurement and contract management within the department's policies.Concierge and Support Services: Coordinate logistics, catering, and visitor support for events.Administrative Support: Manage record-keeping, filing, correspondence, and shared mailboxes for smooth daily operations.The Ideal Candidate:To succeed in this role, you will need:Experience in customer service and administration ideal.Proficiency in LMS administration or a readiness to learn quickly.Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.Adaptability to changing needs and the ability to prioritise tasks.Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.Financial management and procurement experience (desirable).Application Process:Hit the APPLY NOW button or for more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Krystal Jansen on About Ignite:At Ignite, we specialise in connecting exceptional talent with opportunities that make a difference.
