The Division manages and delivers excellence in services for future UOW students, building a program of activities, events, and communications to present UOW to various target audiences throughout their decision-making process, including prospective students, parents, teachers, international agents, partner institutions, and government and other student sponsors.
About the role The Course Content Specialist is responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content that articulates The University of Wollongong's (UOW) courses and their key selling propositions for a range of future student audiences. Working collaboratively with other Divisions and Project Teams, the position will also implement processes to manage and maintain course content across multiple channels including web and print. The position will have a specific emphasis on content production and management for the Course Finder Project; a re-launch of UOW's web-based course listing and search platform.
About you You will have a background in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with significant experience in content creation and management. You will have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail. You should also have experience using content management systems (CMS) to manage and update content. You will possess the ability to apply independence and initiative in planning and prioritising daily work activities, as well as the ability to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders across a complex organisational structure.
