What you'll doYou'll provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals to address the issues impacting their relationships.
This can include general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues and child-protection.
You'll use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve the wellbeing of your clients.
What you'll bringExperience working with couples and families using a robust Family Systems clinical framework is requiredRelevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalentPost-grad qualifications or training in Counselling or Couple and Family TherapyStrong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addictionA calm, professional and compassionate approach when engaging with clientsRegistered or eligible to be registered with PACFA or ACAThe detailsPermanent part-time position3 days per week based at Macquarie ParkApprox $46 - $52 per hour (depending on skills & experience) + 11.5% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900.
