Purpose of the Job: Join our dynamic team as a Country Sales Manager and play a crucial role in driving the growth and profitability of our Australian Food Packaging business. We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented professional to sell innovative packaging solutions to targeted end-customers, such as packers and converters. This is a key position aimed at achieving our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Sales and Customer Service organization for the Australian business within kp.Manage and drive profitable growth of accounts within your designated area.Develop and execute Account Development Plans in collaboration with sales, operations, quality, marketing, and innovation teams.Ensure customer visits are efficiently planned and executed with high quality and punctuality.Develop and share sales and marketing collateral for kp products tailored to the local market.Explore, sell, and deliver packaging solutions, taking full ownership of the sales pipeline process.Negotiate new customer contracts in line with FP guidelines, collaborating closely with the General Manager and internal stakeholders.Monitor and report competitor activities and market dynamics in the region.Support finance in forecasting volumes and margins.Actively promote and sell new products and services from the kp portfolio.Utilize and continuously update CRM and BI tools to register and report on customer visits and business opportunities.Contribute constructively to the development of the Australian Commercial Team.Develop and deliver on your individual sales budget in close collaboration with the Australian General Manager.Drive and implement price increases in line with FP guidelines.Present developed packaging solutions to customers, applying FP Commercial Handbook principles.Execute Voice of the Customer initiatives at the facility level.Success Factors: Deliver results in line with the defined sales budget.Maintain and deliver on targeted customer pipeline activities.Achieve profitability targets.Continuously develop your own skills and those of the Australian Commercial Team.Execute sales management processes to penetrate new markets and generate leads.Plan and prioritize to meet commitments and goals.Travel flexibly to meet business and customer needs.Desired Attributes & Behaviors: Strong drive for results and excitement for seeking and winning new business.Ability to develop and challenge customers, focusing on solution selling.Positive, optimistic, and team-oriented approach to solving challenges.Strong analytical thinker with the ability to make educated commercial decisions.Team player committed to the growth and development of the Australian Commercial Team.Adaptive, out-of-the-box thinker thriving in a performance-driven environment.Motivated by ambitious targets with tenacity and discipline to execute and deliver.Strong relationship builder with customers and co-workers.Initiative-taker who is structured and disciplined in using designated processes, tools, and systems.Technical Skills: Excellent IT skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Salesforce and/or other CRM, SAP-BW, and Power BI.Experience: Strong business and financial acumen.Account management experience, preferably within the Food Packaging or Food Science industry.Understanding of the food production/co-packaging landscape in Australia, with existing relationships in the sector being advantageous.If you are determined, thrive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of accountability and focus, then we'd love to meet you!
