About the Role: We are seeking a Council Services Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of MacDonnell Regional Council critical municipal and commercial operations such as:
Indigenous Essential Services (power, water, and sewerage).Centrelink agency servicesAirstrip maintenancePostal servicesSpecial projects as requiredAnimal managementCemetery managementInternal roads maintenanceParks and open space managementSports ground managementWaste managementWeed control and hazard reductionThis role involves supervising and mentoring local teams, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, and meeting all legislative and contractual requirements.
The position also emphasises building strong relationships with stakeholders and fostering local ownership of services.
