ABOUT THE ROLE: As the Head of Capability and Learning at Cotton On you will be a pivotal force in shaping and propelling our global capability framework and learning curriculum. Imagine bringing to life innovative learning experiences that not only care for but also foster the growth of our incredible 20,000-strong team. As the torchbearer for our ambitious vision, you'll report directly to the General Manager of People and Performance, collaborating seamlessly with business leaders and the global People leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Capability Framework and Learning Strategy: Picture yourself at the forefront, leading the charge in developing and implementing a cutting-edge global capability and competency framework. Your strategic mind will be put to the test as you craft and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that harmonises with our organisational goals. Stay ahead of the game by keeping a finger on the pulse of industry trends, ensuring our learning programs evolve continually.
Program Design and Delivery: Showcase your creative expertise! Design and deliver captivating learning programs utilizing various modalities like e-learning, instructor-led training, workshops, and coaching. Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate relevant, up-to-date content that resonates with our diverse employee groups. Your data-driven mindset will shine as you track and measure the impact of our learning programs, making precise adjustments for continuous improvement.
Leadership Development: As a leader, you'll take the reins in identifying and nurturing leadership potential within our organisation. Your initiatives will shape programs aimed at enhancing leadership skills and capabilities, positively influencing leadership impact and succession planning.
Organisational and Team Effectiveness: Become a driving force behind organisational and team effectiveness initiatives. Your strategic touch will ensure sustainable growth aligned with our strategic goals and priorities. Work hand-in-hand with the People & Performance teams to seamlessly integrate learning and development initiatives into our performance management process.
Imagine exploring and harnessing the power of technology to amplify the efficiency and effectiveness of our learning and capability programs. Collaborate closely with our IT team to implement and optimize learning management systems and an integrated capability framework across the entire people lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS: If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, we're looking for:
Proven leadership experience in organisational development, capability development, or learning and development. Demonstrated experience leading a learning function is essential. A profound understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and various training delivery methods. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate seamlessly at all levels of the organisation. A track record of solving business challenges through the effective design and implementation of relevant programmatic interventions. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for learning and development. Experience with learning management systems and other HRIS technologies. Proven experience in influencing C-Suite executives and effectively collaborating with leaders at all levels.
