Description Work in our on-site laundry facilityCasual positions available for our upcoming holiday season!Australia's favourite theme parks, Dreamworld & WhiteWater World and the iconic SkyPoint Observation Deck and Climb present an exciting opportunity for a Costume Attendant to join our laundry and costume team. We support approximately 800 employees and are looking for a seasonal casual to join our team until February 2025.
Reporting to the Costume Supervisor, you will be part of a team responsible for the distribution, collection, and laundering of Dreamworld's uniforms, costumes, and linen requirements.
What would you do as a Costume Attendant? Laundry care: Wash, dry, iron, and fold uniforms, costumes, and linens according to specific guidelines.Inventory management: Keep track of uniform, costume, and linen supplies - distribute and collect items as needed.Equipment operation & chemical handling: Safely operate washing machines, dryers, and irons - safely use cleaning products according to instructions, report any equipment issues promptly.Quality control: Ensure uniforms, costumes, and linens are clean, undamaged, and ready for use.Customer service: Assist colleagues with uniform and costume needs.What skills do you need to succeed in this role? Willingness to learn: We will provide training for all aspects of the role.Customer service: Resolve customer enquiries and provide information in a timely and accurate manner.Teamwork: Works collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals.Physical requirements: Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.What availability do you need for this role? This role requires flexibility in working hours, and shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM and end as late as 9:00 PM.
